La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport

From the beginning it was great for what I needed. Traveled here to PHX from Tacoma, WA for my husband's graduation. Our original hotel reservation at a different hotel fell through and Alandra was very helpful in getting us booked quick and even made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Yes, it may seem a bit outdated but if it's a clean, comfortable room you're looking for with friends staff and a great deal, this will definitely work. Not to mention it's convenient to shopping, dining, and the airport. Thank you guys for a great visit!

I stayed two weeks in January 2026. I dig the outside entrances to the rooms. I did my laundry here and had breakfast every morning without having to leave the hotel. You can Uber to the restaurants and back for under $20. Walking distance to the dispensary! There's always a few rotten apples everywhere you go but for the most part chill and clean place.

The hotel itself is very outdated. The only reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because of the young lady that was at the front desk. We arrived at the hotel almost at 2 am and Victoria was able to accommodate my husband and I, and OUR DOG, in a room. The first room smelled like cigarettes really bad, so I asked her if she could move us to a different room, and she did. She was very helpful and the transition was super easy. She was really nice! We did not wake up in time for breakfast, so I cant give my opinion on it. We only stayed that night, but overall, the hotel did its job in helping us rest for a few hours. It does need renovations tho.

Friendly staff, great location, clean and good place to stay. Fridge was overly cold and required maintenance to adjust. Room is a tad dated, but that didn’t impact our stay! Good deal for the price.

Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Especially the maid. I didn't get her name but she was so lovely. Stayed 3 nights. Laundry room door broke. I was pretty annoyed by that it was 350 to wash my clothes and another 350 to dry them was 200 for a box of laundry detergent for a single load 2 softener sheets 250.but I let the maid no that couldn't get back in door was broken and she got maintenance to fix asap. The court yard is beautiful. The pool is out doors and good size. Lots of palm trees and big planes and an olive tree. Pet areas bags and cans. Might be right by the interstate which is convenient and could not hear noise. It was just my hubby and I and our dog. On vacation to see our daughter. The bed could have been more comfy and they have no USB chargers besides on microwave. That didn't seem safe. Needs more updating but it was nice for the rate.

This was a handy place to stay overnight on a flight layover. It’s a short ride from the airport. A call to their number, and a shuttle will pick you up. The shuttle runs every half hour; the first one to the airport in the morning is at 5:00 am. The room was neat and clean, and we had a good night’s sleep with breakfast fare served at 6:00 am. We took an Uber to downtown Tempe to go for dinner, although they also have a Waymo option there. All in all, though nothing luxurious, our needs were well served here.

Staff was friendly, the location was convenient. The rooms weren’t as nice as the other La Quinta’s we’ve been to. There wasn’t a microwave or fridge in the basic room we got and paying $50 extra wasn’t worth it. The bathroom area was very small, they should add a curtain to the sink area because it’s nearly impossible to dress where the shower was. If you’re tall you’ll have issues even showering. The shower head almost hit my head and I’m 5 feet 4 in. For the price it’s not great. There are other better options we’d go to for the same price. I’m sure they can charge so much because of the free breakfast and location.

We had a change in our plans, checked in, didn't use the room and checked out. They offered a refund because we did not use the room. Thank you for the kind service and working with us in our ever changing plans! We appreciate you!
